Social Chatter at Eval19 by Jayne Corso

Hi, my name is Jayne Corso and I am the Community Manager for AEA. It was great to gather with the evaluation community at Evaluation 2019! I always look forward to attending the conference as it gives me a chance to greet our members and meet volunteers in person, instead of over email. I also enjoy following the social buzz surrounding #Eval19. I am happy to share a few highlights from the conference and trending posts from Evaluation 2019.

• AEA welcomed more than 200 speakers and hosted 800 sessions, 150 posters, and 60 professional development workshops.

• More than 3,500 evaluation professionals were in attendance.

• 36 exhibiting companies filled the Connection Center.

• We raised $7,400 at the Annual Silent Auction to support the International Travel Awards.

As I start to reflect on #eval19 I feel like I’m being pulled in a million directions by different research ideas. However, one thing that remains salient is how grateful I’m feeling to be surrounded by friends who are equally as nerdy & passionate as me. pic.twitter.com/RYagWhCCv0
