Liz DiLuzio here, wrapping up our Meet the Team week with our most important collaborators who help us to keep the American Evaluation Association (AEA) going: you! AEA runs on a robust network of volunteers and interested parties. If you’re looking for a round up of ways to get (further) involved in our community, here are some ideas:
- Join a Topical Interest Group (TIG) or three! You can sign up on the website, put their next meeting date in your calendar, and immediately start participating in their conversation boards.
- Volunteer for AEA as an abstract reviewer, a task force member, or a working group member. You can read more about the roles and how to sign up here.
- Apply for the GEDI program as a host site or a scholar. You can read more about it in Kutia’s post earlier this week.
- Sign up for updates from EvalTalk, the AEA’s messaging board, and then share a tip, question, or recommendation to the EvalTalk community.
- Become an AEA365 volunteer curator. You can get in on the fun by curating one week a year, one week per month, or anything in between. Reach out to AEA365@eval.org to find out more about what it entails.
Looking forward to another amazing year with all of you!
