International and Cross-Cultural (ICCE) TIG Week: Weaving Stories Across Disciplines and Experiences by Sharon Attipoe-Dorcoo

Hello! I am Dr. Sharon Attipoe-Dorcoo, this year’s Chair of the ICCE TIG and Principal of TERSHA LLC. I am excited to announce the blog posts for the ICCE TIG Week.

As a Ghanaian American in the diaspora, I was raised by my grandmother with an Indigenous Ewe upbringing. In my rich West African heritage, I learned how storytelling is not only a way of life but an embedded culture that exudes the essence of power and liberation. It is in honor of this manumitted power, that I kick off this week’s posts by sharing the I.M.P.A.C.T. framework. This framework embraces an interdisciplinary approach to evaluation in service to communities. As you explore the posts throughout the week, I hope the framework guides how you see the weaving of different stories authors offer across disciplines and experiences. Enjoy!

  1. Very excited to see this post. The I.M.P.A.C.T. framework asks key questions that can help guide the decisions made about an evaluation.
