Susan Kistler on the AEA eLibrary

My name is Susan Kistler, and I am the American Evaluation Association’s Executive Director. It is my pleasure to contribute each Saturday’s post to the aea365 blog. On Friday, I had a wonderful meeting with AEA’s eLibrarians – volunteers committed to increasing the use of, and adding value to, AEA’s online library. Their enthusiasm was contagious, hence today’s post on the fabulous, free, and fruitful resources available to anyone – member and nonmember alike – in the eLibrary.

Rad Resource: The AEA eLibrary and its related sublibraries contain over 400 documents from and for evaluators. This peer-to-peer sharing repository includes instruments, slides from presentations, examples, papers, tip sheets, and reports. While only members can upload new content, anyone can download, search, and learn!

Here are just a few examples of what you can find there:

Click on any of the documents above or go here http://bit.ly/aeaelibrary to access the eLibrary homepage. Be sure to use the search function to find documents based on your topical interests, specific contributors, or file type. Return often in order to access the newest content.

This contribution is from the aea365 Daily Tips blog, by and for evaluators, from the American Evaluation Association. Please consider contributing – send a note of interest to aea365@eval.org.

  2. I just wanted to echo Susan’s post on our AEA eLibrary. It’s essentially a knowledge-management repository, *for us, by us*. Thus, it’s something we could essentially make our own. There are TONS of great resources that you can search, download, and rate. If you haven’t used it, I encourage you to download content and contribute your own! 🙂
